Whether you've never picked up a tennis racquet or you're looking to improve your game, Match Ready™ is designed to help

high school students build confidence, develop skills, and discover new opportunities through tennis.

Students meet twice each week in a fun, supportive environment where they learn the fundamentals of tennis, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and healthy habits—while discovering how tennis can open doors far beyond the court.

Many high school students join school tennis teams without ever being taught the fundamentals of the game. Match Ready™ changes that by bringing structured tennis instruction directly to students, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and prepare to compete. The program also introduces students and families to the many educational, career, and life opportunities connected to the sport of tennis. This focus aligns with CTA's

mission of providing structured instruction where it is most needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need tennis experience?  No! Match Ready™ is designed for beginners as well as students with some tennis experience.

​Does the program cost anything?  No! Match Ready™ is completely FREE.  There are no registration fees and no lesson fees.

​When does the program meet? Twice per week for 16 weeks.  (Insert school-specific days and times.)

​Where is the program held? Mundy’s Mill High School

​What should I wear?  Comfortable athletic clothing and tennis shoes.

​Do I need my own tennis racquet? No!  If you do not have a racquet, one can be provided during the program.
